Week 3

Hi everyone, and welcome back to "Patty's Place". I hope this week has been a good one for you all!

I have to say this weeks assignments have been knowledgeable and fun for me, with a small exception to our library visit. I drove 30 miles to the nearest available college library and had no luck in getting proper assistance from the librarian on duty, and this happened on 3 different visits. I will have to make a 3 hour trip from my home in order to do any off-line-research within a college library to assure I get the proper help that I may need. I hope that everyone else had a better experience than myself, but I won't let this get my enthusiasm down about researching information for my pathfinder!

I enjoyed learning how Proquest database works, I had never used this database before. I found it easy to navigate around the site, and I had no problem finding research material pertaining to my pathfinder project. I also like using the library catalog, but I think I will use the Proquest site for most of my researching adventures. It was also fun doing our "organization" assignment, I would really like to make my "dream room" come true some time in the near future.

Well it is time for me to sign off again, it has been a long and busy week but I wouldn't want it any other way. I am off and running on week 4's assignments, so I will say good by for now, and I will talk with you all later. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
